C300 Trim

I am about to remove the stainless trim from around the rear window and
along the sides of my C300. My question is, how is it attached? The rear
fender trim has retaining nuts on the inside of the trunk, but what about
the end near the door? It appears that the exterior window trim is held in
place by the window rubber seal. The piece that overlaps the window trim
below the rear window and above the trunk lid is removed how? Also, any
suggestions regarding the door window flappers and the associated trim. I
have not decided if I should remove the windshield and rear window yet. Is
there a good source for the rubber seals that hold them in place? If so,
what is the easiest way to remove them without damage? That is all my
questions for today so thanks for your help in advance. By the way, it is
actually going to get down below 10 degrees here in south central
Mississippi. I feel for you guys up north.
