My '62 has the lighter blue metallic version originally. It was produced in April of that year. -----Original Message----- From: John Hertog [mailto:crossram@xxxx] Sent: Friday, May 16, 2003 2:03 AM To: Dan Dunkleberg Cc: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [Chrysler300] wheel medallions- reply Hi Dan, I wondered the same thing when I first saw the hubcap medallions you mention. The answer is not simple, as always. I won't speak for other years I don't know about (300H, 300J) but the 300G's actually had either medallions with a dark navy blue, or medallions with the royal transparent blue with the metalized backing. We did examine many cars to come to that conclusion. The Reproduction Parts committee chose to reproduce the former style.
