As a daily driver on a mountainous road, this is a sore subject. Pls. do us 
all a favor and don't put eyeball searing high beams on any car you intend to 
drive where there is or could be oncoming traffic. Remember that the driver 
thus blinded might just drive directly into YOU. If these bulbs are not DOT 
approved, there is probably a very good reason for it.

Rule of thumb: If you would not want it aimed at you while driving, don't aim 
it at others.
