OK, Folks - Here Goes.......
If the cover of the latest newsletter is any indication, I'm now officially
famous. I'm as excited as Navin Johnson was when the new phone books
arrived in the movie "The Jerk." Now it's your turn to help us all help
ourselves in finding the ever dwindling sources of parts.
Please send the emails directly to me at this email address (not thru the
listserver) and with the subject heading listed above.
Feel free to include some comments on each yard that may help members weed
out which ones might help them in their particular search - such as "1960
and back cars only" or "does not pick or ship parts." Include as much
usable info as possible including hours of operation and exact location.
No yard is too small or too large. No yard is too close or too far.
As for your personal opinions about each establishment, I obviously can't
get into repeating any on the Directory itself - but I suppose it's OK if
you want to tell me "the guy's a nutcase" or "those dogs need a bath real
bad." Remember, because you don't get along with someone doesn't mean that
no one else in the club will be able to crack the code of what makes these
most eccentric members of our society tick. The important thing is that you
should include even the yards that you think are a total ripoff and not
worth your time. That same yard could land someone else in the club a
precious part that no one else has.
Also, please keep your emails to text only and don't send me any
attachments. This inbox fills up quickly due to the listserver.
I'll be compiling the list soon, so don't put it off !
Sean.
