Hi Doug, If you want to re-use the tie rod ends, a pickle fork is not the way to go. Various tool companies make a tie rod end remover that has a screw that pushes on the pin after the nut is removed. They grab the center link, or steering arm with two jaws. This tool does not damage the part being removed, and is a worth while investment to any tool box.
