I have seen in person, and by looking at pictures, that there are quite
a few 70 Hursts painted with the wrong color gold.  They either were
looking only at mopar gold colors, or were looking at Hurst/olds gold
colors.  The gold paint is a 1970 Cadillac color Sauterne Mist.  When I
had some mixed up to paint my wheels, the color was an exact match to my
hood and trunk lid.

I'm following up on a club member question. He'd like to know the color
number for the Hurst gold.

I have Ditzler #2184 Sauterne poly in my notes, actually a '70 Cadillac
color used by Hurst. 

He mentioned that he had that color mixed and it did not match. 

I can think of many reasons for that, but first have to confirm Sauterne
as the right color.
