That is correct. As you know I have used you original car as a source of information while restoring mine since they are fairly close in production. The engineering change to remove the spring anchor pin and replace it with the bracket attached to the carb stud was added to the drawing on 11-6-59! Of course, 300F production, and certainly ram production was underway at that time. The running change had to be "co-ordinated", in that the pin couldn't be removed until the bracket was available. Once the bracket became available, I am sure it was used, but certainly extant rams with pins were not thrown away. Thus, Steve's 300F and others may have both. The return spring seems to have also been changed slightly (1/2" shorter @ same load). On the basis of Steve's car, I would guess the changes finally occured in production during March and April of 1960. Who knows how long it took to finally "clean out" ALL the old rams? Far as I know, no original 300G has ever been noted with the pins, however!!!
