I have a very nice 300 C in our shop with a problem. My problem is the temp gauge, the ammeter, and I believe the oil pressure gauge also, are reading too high. I replaced the temp gauge and the sending unit with NOS before I noticed the ammeter and the oil pressure. The other gauges looked normal? at idle and I hadn't driven the car very far before this past weekend. Now I see that the oil pressure is at the H, the ammeter is at the C (fully charged battery), and the temp gauge, which starts in the middle, is nearly at the top of the scale. Is there a voltage regulator or some other piece that is common to the gauges? All help would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Joe Molina, HESCO Inc., 1200 2nd Avenue South, Birmingham, AL, 35233.
