To all who might be interested in my carb problem. I replaced the carb this evening with an old AFB I had from a 383 Super Commando. Cleaned off the dust, bolted it in place, and it fired right up and ran quite well. Now I know the problem lies within the carb I was using. I'm going to set up the dwell and timing and iron out any other bugs with this other AFB in place. Maybe with fresh eyes I'll be able to locate the problem before it goes to a professional. Thanks to all of you for your advice in troubleshooting this mystery. Ryan Hill ------------------------ Yahoo!
