Now to add an interesting sidelight to this I must assume that parts made 
during the Korean war had ho chrome on them since it was outlawed.  Have run 
into and own lots of parts for my 50 Chryslers which had plastic coating on 
them instead. Never have seen wheelcovers with the plastic though!!
