All, You may want to bring the 300 to a good spring shop for their opinion. I had one extra small leaf added to my '63 300 Conv., from 6 to 7 leaves. This made it like the 300J, as I understand it. They also replaced the rear spring interliner "pads" that will add some height and reduce noise. The ride is much stiffer and is better for cornering. I think I paid $250 for the whole thing, including the new hardware. After the job was done, I noticed that one side of the car was higher. He adjusted the torsion bar and the problem went away.
