Yes, i succeeded some years ago in rebuilding the power pump !!! It took a long time before i found the correct "tool": I bought a lot of flat washers of the correct size (just sliding in the holes) and i built stacks of the correct height as the "drive block assembling fixture" of the #76 pic ('57 FSM).
