Hi Al and All: There are two things in my life I was never able to reassemble: An alarm clock I took apart as a kid and my 300C power steering pump!! Seriously, I think one must need the fixture shown in the service manual to keep the sleeves in their proper position. Way back in '63 or '64, I just substituted the "slipper" type pump. Good luck!! Perhaps some member has devised a way without the fixture. If so, I will read with interest. 300ly, Gil cunningham In a message dated 5/9/2006 2:15:57 AM Eastern Standard Time, jfreddie@xxxxxxxxxxx writes: Has anyone out there disassembled and reassembled a ' 57 power steering pump, and not committed suicide in the process? If so, please respond. I'd like to know the secret. Al Peirish [just minutes from the Spruce Goose] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo!
