Al,
    I went through the whole C power steering pump process last year and the 
year before that and the year before that. Jeff Carter at JC Auto in 
Lynnwood, WA (club member) will rebuild and test the pump and you will not 
have any worries about it not performing as expected.  I wish I had 
originally gone with him in '03, '04, and the first time in '05. Three 
different pump rebuilders, over $1000 in the car collector black hole, a 
lsot pump reservoir cover, and burned out stinking pumps! Jeff has all the 
parts and is very reasonable and with less than a week turn around time. 
Call him at 425-672-8324. Mine works perfectly and I also installed a power 
steering cooler to prolong its life. The Thompson power steering pump is a 
one year only design. There are a lot of "power steering pump rebuilders" 
out there that hit the wall when doing work on this pump. Need I say more?? 
I had to threaten going to the Minnesota Attorney General over one outfit 
that I had work on my pump last year.  Jeff Carter is the way to go. I have 
a spare newly rebuilt pump that I keep for future replacement should it be 
necessary. I recommend that if you can manage getting a second one in
