when he is going to have a check sent to you that is over the value of the 
car and have you refund difference it will be obvious.

Still have my fictitious check--no loss to me but let the supposed buyer 
send check and then waited for it to cash--Actually had bet with the CEO of 
my credit union with me winning when it was fake.  Guess what I won!!

At least I cost the guy a bit to play along with him or her.
