Hi to all, We are progressing well with the 1960 F 14 inch wheels with retention bumps. These bumps are only for correctness and to retain regular 1960 Chrysler hubcaps. 300-F hubcaps have claws and do no need these bumps. The claws miss the bumps by design. Our 2 test mules Bill Leahy and Tim Tomlinson for 1957 etc and 1964, respectively, are waiting for "bumpless wheels". Tim has brought out the point that there is a rotating hubcap problem with 1964. The hubcaps can shear off the valve stems. Chrysler had 2 little anti rotational small bumps that were on each side of the inner wheel on either side of the valve stem hole. Please check your 1957 thru 1964 14 inch wheels and report back to the list with the measurement between the centers of the 2 small anti-rotational bumps if you DO have these 2 small bumps on your "original" wheels. Also, if your "original" wheels DO NOT have these, please let us know. Probably 1965 thru 1968 14 inch wheels would also help. If there is consistency thru the years, we can make this 14 inch wheel project work for other than 1960. REPLY ALL so that we all may follow. The anti-rotational bumps can be viewed as the last picture labeled "small bumps" on the following web page. http://homepage.mac.com/awrdoc/PhotoAlbum5.html Photo courtesy of Paul Holgrem.
