Tony, My C wheels do not have the retention bumps. I noticed some wheelcover rotation placing some torque on the valve stem on one of the wheels and thought that the wheelcover claws needed to be bent outwards to increase the grab on the wheel. I did this about 25 miles ago and so far so good. I monitor each wheel after driving her to see if there is any cover travel. Bump wheels designed to prohibit this would be greatly appreciated. I remember as a kid the "wheelcover creeper" sound made by my buddy's dad's Plymouth. I thought he had something clicking against the wheelcover but my father said that it was the wheelcover creeping.
