Also the one and same who gave amnesty from their death penalty sentences to each and every inmate on Illinois' death row.  Wonder how many will be paroled at some future date to murder and pillage again, other victims.  Oh, I'm sorry, I've done lost my head again, they were probably all commuted to life without parole.  But of course some future Governor could determine that this would be cruel and unusual punishment, and with the help of the ACLU, they could all be released one day(ala Clinton when he left office).  I too once lived in Chicago and of course am well aware of Illinois politics.

  Some more interesting history: George Ryan's name is

  other corruption and is currently awaiting sentencing.
