One of the products I've always found success with for plastic is Brasso. I've used it to clean plexiglass to an optical quality. I work in the film industry and we use plexiglass to protect the camera. There is another product called novis that has three parts, a deep scratch remover, a fine scratch remover, and a polish. When I tried to clean up my tail light lenses, I got the best results with brasso. Brasso is available everywhere.
