Did anyone get the VIN or check the data plates on any of the 300s sold. Was the G convert coded as a red convert.?

There was a red G convert. that was in an auction in Texas about 4 months ago where, as I remember, the data plate was for a white convert and the VIN tag was wrong as well. Was this the same car?? The one in Texas didn't meet reserve I don't believe. Could have been re-auctioned in AZ??

As to the sale of G coupes, last spring at the Mecum auction in Belvidere, Illinois, a black coupe went for $80,000 plus a 5% commission and a cinnamon coupe went for $90,000 plus a 5% commission. I saw both those cars and both cars were formerly owned by Joe James and were restored to perfection. Both had wide white wall tires which the cinnamon coupe pictured in the B-J auction brochure didn't have. Could be the same car but a VIN would verify "yes" or "no".
