To all with Pertronix units... I recently replaced the Mallory uni-lite distributor and MSD #5 with the Pertronix Ignitor and coil. Converted original dual point, and installed the mech. tach . The connections were simple, and I was able to set the static timing at 10 to 12 degrees on the 360 hp 413. Honestly, there is about the same performance that I had with the other after market units, and a lot less wires to fumble with. Last year, I removed the inline 2x4 Edelbrock set-up, and sold it to a club member. Now, with original auto choke and cast iron manifold, the motor needs a little time to warm and idle, but it is still snappy when I hit the throttle!
