Well Joe; I am an Auction Hound. I go to local auctions, looking for unusual items, both for myself and for eBay. Friday auctions are great, because the fools are working. Sat Auctions are not so great because they are there. I've seen them pay more for used, damaged items than the could buy it new for in the store. As for eBay, I bid, near the end, what I'm comfortable with, and usually add a few dollars. I'd hate to lose a $20 item that went for $22. So, I over bid a little, if I really want it, and if I don't get it, at least the winner paid a little extra. Moral here: win it yourself, or make them pay dear.
