Hi, I did not matter what color your 300 was, the highway patrol noticed any 300C going fast. I know since we purchased our Copper Brown 1957 300C in July 1958 and used it for business. Several times cops turned their vehicles around and followed me. I frequently traveled from Seattle to Spokane, Washington a distance of 300 miles. In those days, you did not see any other 300's in Washington State. There was a recession in '57 ( the year I graduated from high school ) that didn't help sell higher priced cars.
