When I was a teenager in the 1970s with a 360HP 300-K, I had a booster fail - It was the Midland-Ross unit that had the front & rear halves held together by a clamp band, as it's described in the factory workshop manual - http://www.imperialclub.com/Yr/1964/FSM/html/05-017.htm (I found the 1964 Chrysler Workshop Manual online from the Imperial site from a link located on http://www.63chrysler.com/ , which caters to 1963 & 1964 Chryslers) As I was on a low budget, I had planned to buy & install a used unit. I went down to a local salvage yard, and snooped under the hoods of a dozen Mopars - I came up with a couple other Midland-Ross units - they were found in other than C-body cars as well - Dodge Coronets and the like. The one I bought was bad also, so I disassembled mine & the one I just bought. Luckily, different rubber parts (bellows and diaphragm) inside each were damaged in each of the units, and I was able to successfully build one good booster that lasted for the remainder of my ownership of the car. I would imagine that the entire Midland-Ross unit is interchangeable with the Bendix unit, though I've never tried it - I've had the M-R unit on at least 10 out of the 15 or so 1963 & 1964 Chryslers I've had over the years, and they were on each of the 360HP Ks I've had. Whe I get to it, I'll need to rebuild the remote booster on my ram K - anyone have good luck with one of the previously-mentioned firms? But, for what it's worth, I'll second the suggestion of Karp's in Upland, CA. I've had several early '60s Chryslers brake boosters rebuilt by them, and they always do a good job. The only problem I had was when one failed within a few drives, and they quickly re-rebuilt it at no charge. I recently arranged for an "extra" booster to be sent to them to rebuild for my 300G, and when they received it, they identified it as incorrect for a G and sent it back to the source at no charge to me, because they knew I'd use them again in the future.
