List-lookers.......I have four fan clutched seven bladed cooling fan set-ups, two on 300's and two on the parts shelf. All have the thermo spring as part of the clutch. All four exhibit different degrees of "clutchness" ranging from almost free wheeling to quite tight. These all at ambient temperature of 60 degrees. I want to put one of the unattached units on the '66 NY'r 440 engine in my 48 Chrysler to reduce noise at speed. What is the natural state of these clutches? Tight? Loose? Is the loose one short of internal fluid? Can they be refilled? So many questions but so many folks have answers......Merry Christmas **************************************See AOL's top rated recipes (http://food.aol.com/top-rated-recipes?NCID=aoltop00030000000004) [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/ Yahoo!
