On most tanks, the Gas Gauge sender unit is also the pick-up. Once removed, all that is left is the tank itself with only the big hole the sender was in and the filler tube. There maybe a vent tube somewhere also but the sealer won't seal it off. Ray On Dec 13, 2007, at 1:19 PM, VICTOR KOONTZ wrote: I have a 300F. I need to seal a leak in the tank.POR15 has a kit that seals a tank. It's a 3 step project with the sealer last( of course) The problem is how to keep the sealer from cloging the gas outlet tube. with the tank off does the outlet tube come out with the float?
