Have you tried a local radiator shop? I had a tank on a H repaired, cleaned, sealed and coated inside and out at a very reasonable cost.

We pulled the tank today and it is quite a mess. The used ones I have been
offered haven't looked any better. The new ones I've found are close
looking but small 15-19 gallons. I remember reading that the cars came with
23 gallon tanks and, given the expected mpg, in this case size is important.
Anyone have a source for new replacement tanks?
