Because of tight engine compartment conditions caused by the ram induction plumbing, rear A/C was not offered on Letter Cars in 1960-61. A Letter Car-only rear A/C system that routed lines around the ram induction was never engineered, no doubt due to low anticipated demand. It was available on the 300H because of its inline carb set-up. HOWEVER, a non-AC Chrysler could have had a factory-style standard MoPar compressor installation done at the dealership and lines run to a standard MoPAr rear AC unit. I have seen this sort of arrangement on a 1962 Imperial that did not come with factory A/C. It is a simple, straightforward way to put A/C into a car after the fact using all MoPar parts. The advantage to doing this as opposed to retrofitting a front A/C system is obvious - you do not disturb the existing heating system nor disturb anything behind the dash, plus the rear unit bolts in easily and works through the existing cut-outs on the rear package shelf. These rear units (most often found in Imperials of the era) are very powerful and will cool a car nicely. And if the car already has a rear defogger, the same switch is used to control the A/C blower speed.
