Hi David Some newer oil coils, like MSD, cannot be mounted horizontally. The oil doesn¹t cover the internal components and they burn out and will not be replaced under warranty. In this case you need an epoxy coil. Be sure to read the fine print regarding mounting instructions on any coil that you purchase.
