The ram manifold 413 was rated at 405HP. Whether any were put into 300Hs is questionable. Some sources indicate the car could be ordered from the factory with this engine---not just a dealer installed item. No verifiable 300H ORIGINALLY equipped with the 405 option has ever surfaced that I am aware of. (It wouldn't make a lot of sense to put this engine into the much heavier 300H when it could be had in a relatively stripped 300 Sport, would it?) ---When the 300H engine was ordered for a Sport 300, it appears to have also come with the 15" wheels with 300H wheelcovers and the 150mph speedometer. However, as Jim points out, ONLY the 300H came with the full length console and four bucket seats. This was never available in the Sport. Also---it may go without saying----the little chrome "H" on the deck lid was never on the Sport, regardless of engine option. ---Road tests I have readily available on the 300/300H indicate the "H" might have been a second quicker to 60mph than the single 4bbl Sport. (8.7sec vs 7.7 sec.) These things are so variable it is hard to make a firm statement. The best a "405" ram 300 did was the Hot Rod Special, a Sport 300 hardtop, sponsored by Hot Rod Magazine. Its best run was 12.88 seconds @ 108.4 mph. ---AMA "curb weight" figures are: 300 Sport, 3750 lbs: 300H, 4010 lbs. (2 dr. hardtop weights) ---I'll let others comment on the driving characteristics, other than to say the 300H has a softer spring rate than the "F" and "G". The first time I sat in my "H" after being used to the "F", I was surprised at how much shorter the hood seemed from the driving position. Thought the ride, at that time (1971) seemed "choppier" too. Since then have put many, many pleasurable miles on the "H". The best it ever handled, was when I put the 14" wheels from the "F" on it for a trip to New England. (Those wheels had almost new radials on them) I later returned to the stock 15" wheels with radials, of course. Hope this was of some help/interest. On the outside, only the wheel covers and the letter H on the trunk were the difference from the sport. 4 bucket seats were always a standard item with any letter car, the H was no exception.
