The clouds parted for an incredible gathering on Saturday although I learned that sleeping in meant detouring around a parade. Great job hosts. Like everyone else it was nice to place names and faces with the various goings on from the list serve. Kudos for all the information if only my one remaining brain cell could retain even ½ of what I learned. Thanks everyone for the People?s Choice Award?I will take it as the ?welcome rookie to the club we?re sick of seeing everyone else?s cars all the time and are happy for some new blood? award and expect to be kicked the curb like all you grizzled veterans next around. It was an interesting challenge getting home in the rain without any heat or AC and our defrost consisted of dual micro-fiber clothes and open vent windows. Being a local with only 180 miles to drive I have no complaints and my car survived the Maine 91 super with flying colors. It sounds like everyone got home safely and I look forward to seeing all at the spring meet with my car ?complete? (yeah right).
