Hey Jean-Yves, Thanks for the heads up on the flex plate. I have never claimed to be wise about all the pieces to the car and this is a perfect example. Thank you for your gentle answer. Was glad you got the J; you always do such a nice job on your restorations. I hope to see it at Carlisle or one of the Northeast shows. Best of luck. Tom -------------- Original message from "jean-yves chouinard" <jymopar@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>: -------------- Tom. If for a 300F, there is no flex plate . Torque converter bolts direcly to crankshaft flange. Flex plate is 62 and up only (aluminum case trans). Your F has the cast iron trans, no flex plate... Am ready to install rebuilt engine and transmission into the car. I have misplaced the flex plate that goes between the torque converter and the crankshaft. I have a friend that has these plates for the 65-67 mopars; are they the same as the earlier cars (60-62)? If not, does anyone have an extra? Thank you. Happy Thanksgiving!!
