I don't know that anything has changed in the eighteen months or so since we last spent considerable server space getting a consensus on this topic and that was that while a considerable number of people are having no problem whatsoever finding and continuing to use Type F, that the latest Dexron ATFs are everywhere, and are excellent for seals and are fully compatible for your torqueflite.   In some areas, in some stores Type F must be ordered.
