It only applies emails sent to the club and the person who sent them. When someone uses "Respond to all" with their answer. Most programs put the original posters name in the To: area and the the Lists (which is a huge batch {400+} of names, including everyone on the list). As Jim said, the original poster gets 2 emails. His, as being replied to, and a second copy, since he is also on the list-server list. Easily solved, when using "Respond to all", just delete the posters name leaving only the chrysler 300 address. This also applies to your name when you reply, if your email program automatically puts your name in the Cc: area. You are also included with the 300 Club list so would get 2 copies. You should get 1 copy of this, as I deleted your name in the To: area and left the club's in the Cc: area. I normally delete both the original posters name and mine, leaving only the list-server in the Cc: area. Ray On Sep 17, 2009, at 11:03 AM, Michael Reed wrote: I'm getting only one copy of messages. Perhaps AT&T's SPAM filter is detecting duplicates and deleting them? I don't have a way to find out if that is occurring or not. Because they are coming to the rest of us via Yahoo's server, it would seem that if one person is getting duplicates then they are being issued to everyone... Mike "DOLLARS FOR DISHWASHERS!" You think I'm kidding? President Obama's Stimulus Bill has set aside $300 million for rebates to consumers who buy the more efficient "Energy Star"-rated home appliances. And... you don't have to trade in your old appliances. ----- Original Message ----- From: yelof@xxxxxxxx To: chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, September 17, 2009 11:34 AM Subject: [Chrysler300] Duplicate messages. I am getting duplicate messages periodically. Today they were from Bill Leahy and David Schwandt. Didn't keep track of them in the past so don't know if the same. Anyone have the answer? MN.
