[Chrysler300] Update on Franklin Mint 300D Convertible Release

Hello 300'ly to all!
    I called the order desk at Franklin Mint this pm and explained to the sales representative my concern over their new release 300D Aztec Turquoise convertible having C wheelcovers.  Of course I couldn't go beyond the sales representative because all their technical people "were in a meeting". She said that she would make a note of  the discrepancy and pass it on to them.  The models are back ordered and haven't been released yet.  I mentioned that people pay their asking price for correct detail and that members of the 300 Club International, 300 Club, Inc. and ForwardLook.net would be reluctant to spend over $150 for an incorrect D model when the correct version in hardtop form has been on the market by the Danbury Mint for over 4 years. It will be interesting to see if a change is made or if they put out a schlock product.  ROB KERN
