Re: [Chrysler300] Tires-Ticking Time Bombs?

Hi Pete and all

The date code is is on the inside of the tire and is in the form of a 3 digit or 4 digit number.

3 digits were tires made in the 1990's. The first 2 digits indicate the week it was made and the third is last year in the 90's. Thus a tire with 469 was made in the 46th week of 1999.

4 digits are used starting with the year 2000. Thus a tire with 1302 was made the 13th week of 2002.

This is explained in the video report.
