Hi to all, Thank you all for relaying that the exhaust manifold are natural/rust and that the cast iron TFs all leak when they sit for a long time from drain back. I found ultra seal Mr. Gasket valve cover gaskets from JEGS. Seems that there are rubber, cork and ultra seal from JEGS. Seems that I need new valve covers which are in pretty bad shape. Seems that the newly replaced shift cable is leaking and hopefully it is only the ³O² ring. Everyone has been helpful as usual. Is this a wonderful Club or what!! Of course, they didn't stay that way too long,---as Dave implied! Eastwood makes a product especially for exhaust manifolds, and others do as well. I had mine done by a small outfit in S. Georgia. It was a "ceramic" coating process, as I recall, but in the proper color. Has lasted well. (10+ years). Unfortunately, I just looked thru all my receipts, and could not find the name of the company. If I do ever find it, I will post it on the list server. 300LY, Gil C. -----Original Message----- From: Anthony Rinaldi <awrdoc@xxxxxxxxx> To: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sat, Nov 21, 2009 2:27 pm Subject: [Chrysler300] Color Of Exhaust Manifolds Hi to all, What is the best color for 1960 F exhaust Manifolds?
