I also just received (from another source) this e-mail with these wonderful
pictures of new cars from the '40's and '50's on car trailers behind truck
tractors.  They can't be sent over our Yahoo server, but I'd be glad to
forward the email with the pictures to interested members.  No 300's, but a
few MoPars.  

I've seen a few pictures of the Kiekhaefer 300's riding around in presumably
Dodge box body COE trucks with their fat fannies sticking out.  And, I read
that Carl had hemi's installed in the trucks so they could haul the iron
around the tracks in the glory days of 1955-56.  Each truck had an outside
barrel for racing fuel.  One was marked "Flock Juice".

Some day I've got to learn how to set up accessible picture files on the
'net.  Anyone care to share that technology?
