What a difference when the Geometry is corrected on clutch linkage!! Easy smooth pedal, and no struggling to make the K "car go".... Thanks to the Parts book, Service manual, andlots of tips from club members. The frame end of z tube was missing a bearing half due to worn snap retainer. Ma Chrysler sent parts the very next day for tube re-do. It was worth the hand squeezing, and crampng ton remove and replace inner fender to remove the troubling tube. Just as frustrating to re-install, but, the pedal is very light and smooth..Very little chatter on normal 1st gear take off. Yes I did.....I did a rolling launch...the front end came up, no slip or smell..and did not break a thing @ 3 grand...Tires barked and K did not poop out! Seems like the clutch still has a life for Normal operation. It was a pleasure to motor in light traffic , and leave the lights wit little effort. Thanks Guys for listening at the meet, and for the feed back on this server. Now if I can just find the time for that TRW 327 cam project. All tools cleaned, and happy in Va, 300K-ly Dave D.
