That's great to hear, Noel!  I will be in the market for these tires soon.

I did a little research when Diamondback came out with these 205R14 wide whitewall tires - they are a common delivery van tire in Europe and not normally available in the USA.

Leaving out the aspect ratio in the tire size, as I understand, automatically pegs these as an 205/80R14 size.

I just put a brand new set of Diamondbacks on our 300F Coupe a week before driving down to the Front Royal meet from Chicago. Unlike the G, the F has 14" wheels, so we only had 1 tire choice - went with the 2 1/2" wide whitewall. Looking at the inside of the tires, they're Vredensteins. In speaking with Rich at Diamondback, he said Diamondback just started using these tires as their base for making the 14" wide whites this year. Price was $839 shipped to Chicago, including their $5/tire road hazard warranty - he gave me the '09 price.  I ran into heavy rains about 50 miles out from Front Royal driving down to the meet, and also very heavy rains driving from Dayton most of the way back home to Chicago. The F handled great - ask Terry McTaggert who was tailing me on Hwy 50 through the wonderful twisty hilly VA mountains. I'm very pleased with these tires. The ti res' specs are in the Diamondback catalog - www.dbtires.com - on Page 20 - size 205R14 (Euro
 metric). The tires are a little shorter than the original F tires. Th at said, I measured the F's speedometer reading against the reading on my Garmin, and the speedo was right on at 70 MPH.

I agree with Mark; Michelin all the way. I have used DiamondBack for five 
years or so. Never a problem. And Michelin has always been the best from my 
perspective.

Mark, 
You will find that the Michelin tire is by far the better choice. They ride 
smoother, quieter, handle wet roads better, give better traction, and are 
more fuel efficient than almost any tire available today. Well worth the 
extra bucks.
