Is the block casting number detail on top valley area sides of 1957 300C 392 motors (that is hidden when the intake is bolted on) always on the right side, or the left, or sometimes can it be found on either side? There are at least always two sets of numbers - one is factory cast number, the other is casting date, and they usually not too far apart - I believe.
