I happened to be watching the first part of the show when the hub cap came on screen, and I only know of one car that has those. It belongs to Victor Koontz in California. I restored the car and created the 15" hub caps out of the disk brake caps, removed the spinner center and applied the F "cog" to the center for an F look with 15" wheels. Victor ended up with it a couple of years ago. As an old fart, I got tired and went to bed but recorded the rest of the episode to see tonight. Don't know if the car showed up or not, and am not sure if it is Victor's car or not, but believe it might be. Does a club member own or anyone know who owns it ? Dead body was thrown from a bridge and they found a hubcap which the med examiner ( Isles ) immediately ( of course ) I.D.'d from a 1960 Chrysler 300F, 413 wedge engine. The hubcap they pulled from the bag however had the large gear type centerpiece and also two "disc brake" embossments 180 degrees apart on the outer chrome ring surrounding the centerpiece, ala a later 60's model standard 300, say 66 or 67. Guess it was a combo of the two years or I'd just never seen that type on a 60 before and was sure they didn't come with disc brakes. Car was shown later minus any hubcaps at all but looked pretty nice with a great interior. Episode will be repeated at 1:00 am Friday and 11:00 am Sat. on TNT. Check local times, program dvrs or stay up late and enjoy.
