I TALKED TO BOB MACATEE  WHO LIVED IN BLOOMINGFTON/NORMAL ABOUT THE CHROME AIR CLEANERS ETC. HE SOLD CHRYSLER PLYMOUTHS FOR A DEALER HERE. HE SAID IT WAS AN OPTION YOU COULD GET. MY 2CENTS WORTH.

  You are exactly right. This topic was discussed in length, I am pretty sure it 
  was an inbox overload topic....you know the kind where nobody will just drop it. 
  LOL! Anyway, if you search Forwardlook.net too, you will find this was all 
  discussed in extreme length on there too. Just an fyi for everyone who is 
  wondering about these questions.

  Did I nopt read here some time ago that there was an underhood option 
  for some chrome worked pieces ?
  maybe air cleaners, carb linkage and some other small bits?
