Re: [Chrysler300] 1960 300F at Mecum in Monterey 8-14

Thanks for the lead, Josh. Quite a number of searches returned nothing, however. I'm really curious to pursue this further.

When I purchased my 300-F in 1979 it was completely restored to original -- except for (what I believed until now) the chrome air cleaners and valve covers. I've long wondered why someone would chrome plate the valve covers and air cleaners -- including placing the original decals back on the chromed air cleaners. Now I wonder if perhaps that chromework is indeed original.

If you should run across any of those forwardlook.net messages regarding this, I would appreciate the link(s)...

  Paul,
You are exactly right. This topic was discussed in length, I am pretty sure it
was an inbox overload topic....you know the kind where nobody will just drop it.
LOL! Anyway, if you search Forwardlook.net too, you will find this was all
discussed in extreme length on there too. Just an fyi for everyone who is
  wondering about these questions.
  Thanks,
  Josh

Did I nopt read here some time ago that there was an underhood option
for some chrome worked pieces ?
maybe air cleaners, carb linkage and some other small bits?
