[Chrysler300] Chad Caldwell's 300D Convertible by Danbury Mint!

Hello 300'ly to all!
    I just received my 1958 300D White Danbury Mint Convertible.  It is the exact replica of the first 300D convertible I ever saw in person, that belonging to Chad Caldwell, at the Dayton  Fall,2003 Meet!  It is one of a kind, it was recently completed by master modeler Paul Hettick of San Diego.  It is my response to the less than desirable turquoise rendition by the Franklin Mint.  It is entirely Danbury Mint.  I purchased a White C Danbury convertible and a Red Danbury D hardtop on E-Bay which were in excellent condition and sent them to Paul.  Paul expertly converted the C convertible to a D. It is just like Chad's.  Let's not get into discussion over VIN numbers and serial numbers for Danbury Mint models here.  Perhaps I committed a model car felony here, but I have a great D convertible to add to my collection....in tribute to Chad's pristine real-life example! By the way, Paul can convert other letter car models to fill in the gaps in 1/24 and 1/25 scale for Letter Cars not having been produced.  He has agreed to do an E, F, J,  and Hurst for me. ROB KERN
