Great to get an email from you Pete! Yes, I'll check out my sparkplugs. Now, on the bright side, I got a BITCHIN and I mean a killer engine rebuild!! The nice gentleman by the name of Leon Sterret (anyone ever heard of him?), raced in 1965 - ? I am going to Google him... Anyways, Melissa has the 400 hp. 'conversion'. This concerned me a little because then I had to ask about the cam used. He said the camshaft will have just a scosh more of duration and/or lift! In our website a while back, I remember seeing the 30' ram formulas mathmatically. It was explained that at 2800 rpms, the intake valve is closed for .0268 seconds and within the rams, a column of fuel and air resonate and waves are generated and the 6th time it bounces back, it finds the intake valve open! So that's why I was concerned about the performance. I had understanding that the 30 inch rams and carbs are tuned to the cam. Isn't that true? Either way...the performance is outstanding. It
 may just be 0 to 60 in 6 seconds flat or less! (30 to 90 as most of you know for an F or G is even FAR MORE EXCITING!!) I am strict for originality therefore I really don't want it too much faster than from what they were at the factory! See you all soon!!
