After finally getting my E on the road a couple of weeks ago, we determined that 3 out of the 5 tires had problems. All were supposedly dynamically balanced & Coker was prepared to replace them with American Classics as they no longer produce their own. The Coker fellow enquired about the tire & rim run out. I was told the worst of the tires was out of round by almost an inch, another approximately 1/2", which of course would account for the poor performance. The installer/ balancer could not provide the run out info, so after some checking around I took the 3 to the most highly recommended shop. Results were 1 rim had a flat spot (not visible) and the other 2 tires were able to be balanced properly by repositioning the tires on the rims, and with lower balance weights. So now I have 2 that are "very good" and 1 that is "good", the latter will be the spare. Lesson I learned that may be of use to others is that not all balancing is equal.
