Mark, I paid $350 plus a core charge of $100 which they promptly returned when I sent the core back. I didn't want to try and do it myself given that it made more sense to put the car on a lift for part of the removal and install. Frankly, it was a pretty big job and would have been a problem without the book. The gear box was the last resort given that I replaced the entire front end and still couldn't get rid of the excessive play. By the way, zero play with the new box. I noticed that you are in Barrington, IL so if you want to see what the 62 looks like I happen to be in Crystal Lake. Had the work done at Crystal Lake Chrysler but would have to dig through the receipt pile to let you know what the cost was.
