I have been getting my 300H back on the road. Now that it's drivable, it was sometimes making a horrible drive train racket, sounding like the rear end was about to come through the floor. I suspected the Sure-Grip was locking up and needed to change the oil. Thanks to help from this forum and others, I ultimately bought Chrysler Gear and Axle Lubricant (SAE 80W-90) p/n 04874468 and the LSD additive recommended (0431806OAB). The initial results were disheartening and it still clanked a lot. After checking the rear u joint yesterday, a friend and I took the car down to a (closed) local hospital parking lot, and drove figure 8's as recommended for probably half an hour. That did it! Thanks to all for the helpful suggestions.
