When we left Carmel. Thursday morning, we headed north, up Hwy 1, to the Golden Gate Bridge, and then onto 101. We were roaring along just fine, when suddenly the roar of the engine changed to a hissing sound. Upon lifting the hood at the next wide spot, we discovered that the porcelain had blown out of the Champion spark plug on the #4 cylinder. It's the first time I've ever had that happen in all of my many years driving, or even seen it happen. The K ran along with the traffic just fine on 7 cylinders for about 80 miles, until we reached Fortuna, CA, a little town with a parts store that was open, where we were able to buy a replacement plug. Just wondering if any of the club members have had that happen to them. (Other that that, the K ran good for the 2130 miles, and we want to say thanks to the Jetts for all of their hard work, putting on such a good meet) Tom and Lynn Bradshaw Snohomish ,WA [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to bob@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or go to http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Chrysler300/join and select the "Leave Group" button For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylangYahoo!
